Zachery moved to Salem in 2009 when he attended Willamette University. They fell in love with Salem and made it home after graduation. He joined the board of Capital Pride in 2019 and became President later that year.
Outside of Pride and work, they enjoy fiber arts and heritage crafts, fantasy writing, gaming, and quality time outdoors. He lives with his husband and their dog .JPG and cat Pistachio in Salem.
