WHAT TO BRING

Camping Gear

Participants are responsible for bringing their own tents, sleeping bags, camp chairs, and general camping supplies. If you don’t have a tent or sleeping bag, Capital Pride may be able to provide you one. Reach out to our Program Coordinator at keith@salemcapitalpride.org.

Food

Capital Pride will provide limited food and snacks, but if you have specific dietary needs or restrictions, we suggest bringing your own food.

Activities

Feel free to bring any games, activities, or sports equipment you enjoy, but remember not to overpack.

Swim Suit

We will be located close to the ocean, so you might wish to bring a swim suit, as well as any water-related activities. There will be no lifeguard, so be careful and engage in these activities at your own risk, and always wear sunscreen!

Pets

We welcome pets but be aware of how much space they take up and how friendly they are with people and other animals. Pets must be on-leash except in specified off-leash areas.

Medical Essentials

Make sure to bring any medications or personal supplies you will need for the entire weekend. It’s a long drive back to Salem, so you don’t want to have to leave early because you forgot something. This is especially important when carpooling with others, as this will disrupt their experience as well. In the event of a medical emergency, Capital Pride will ensure you get a ride back to Salem.

TICKETS

$5 Per Person

Campsites are being provided by Salem Capital Pride for just $5 per person.

Each ticket is for one person for the entire weekend. You may order more than one ticket.

We ask that you try to fit your party into as few tents/vehicles as possible, so we can accommodate as many groups as possible.

Parking

If you would like to reserve one of the limited parking spots at the campsite, you must be willing to carpool.

If you are unwilling to carpool, you may still drive yourself but will be responsible for finding (and possibly paying for) your own parking.

Need Help Paying?

If you are unable to afford the cost of a ticket or want to pay with cash/check, please email info@salemcapitalpride.org to receive a waiver or instructions on how to pay with cash/check.

Want to Help Pay for Others?

At the end of checkout, you will have an opportunity to donate extra money. Donating money helps cover waivers for other people and helps fund our programs and events.

Additional details will be provided in a follow-up email as the event gets closer.
